How long does it take to get a custom device?

The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the device. Generally, from your initial evaluation and casting to the final fitting, the process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months. Your clinician will provide you with a personalized timeline during your consultation.

Will my insurance cover my device?

Most insurance plans, including Medicare, provide coverage for medically necessary prosthetic and orthotic devices. Our administrative team will help you verify your benefits and understand any potential out-of-pocket costs upfront. Please see our "Insurance & Billing" section above for more details.

Do I need a doctor's prescription?

Yes, a prescription from your physician is required for all custom prosthetic and orthotic devices to ensure it is medically necessary and appropriate for your condition.

How do I care for my device at home?

Your clinician will provide you with detailed instructions on how to clean and care for your specified device and for maintaining your skin health. We are always here to answer any questions you may have about maintenance.
